Mrs. Laurice Honea, age 82 of Blevins, Arkansas passed away, Thursday, February 2, 2017 in Texarkana, Texas. Laurice was born in Blevins, Arkansas on August 10, 1934 to John and Lois Shapley. She was former co-owner of D and G Grocery and a member of Bruce Memorial United Methodist Church in Blevins. She is preceded in death by her parents, husband Gilbert Honea of 55 years and three brothers Delmar, Hilton and Tom Shapley.

Survivors include; son Don Honea, wife Janice, daughter; Diane Westbrook, husband Sammy all of Blevins, Arkansas, two brothers; Johnny Shapley, wife, Bonnie and Bill Shapley, wife, Myrlene all of Hope sister; Betty Warren, husband Mike of Bryant, Arkansas, three grandchildren; Lauren Honea of Baton Rouge, Louisiana, Leann and Allen Westbrook of Blevins, Arkansas.

Visitation will be 6:00 to 8:00pm on Saturday, February 4, 2017 at Brazzel/Oakcrest Funeral Home.

Funeral services will be 2:00pm on Sunday, February 5, 2017 at Brazzel/Oakcrest Chapel with Rev. Joe Miller officiating. Burial will follow in Marlbrook Cemetery Blevins, Arkansas.
