Mrs. LaVergne White, age 93 of Rosston , Arkansas passed away, Sunday, November 13, 2016 . She was born in Rosston , Arkansas on March 23, 1923 to Theron and Valera Dixon Malone. Mrs. White was a home maker and a member of Rosston Baptist Church , where she was the longest active member and she was a former Sunday School Teacher.  She is also a member of the Eastern Star. She is preceded in death by her parents, a daughter; Marcia Ann White, a brother; Claude Thompson, a sister; Ganalda Thompson Coley and one niece, Pam Miller.

Survivors include; her husband of 76 years, Claudie White of Rosston, other survivors include, two nephews, two nieces; Phyliss Hayden and Melanie Prine, thirteen great nieces and nephews, three great-great nieces and nephews, and a special cousin, Jim Dexon.

Visitation will be 5:00 to 7:00pm on Wednesday, November 16, 2016 at BRAZZEL/Cornish Funeral Home 1196 Hwy. 371 West Prescott, AR.

Funeral service will be 11:00a.m., on Thursday, November 17, 2016 at Mt. Moriah Church near Rosston, with Rev. Jerry G. Westmoreland and Bro. Joe Brown officiating. Burial will be in Mt.
