Mrs. LaVerne McDonald, 86 of Prescott passed away, Tuesday, April 10, 2012 in Texarkana, Arkansas. Mrs. McDonald was born June 25, 1925 in Amherst, Texas to Ray and Iber Martindale Willis. She was the owner of McDonalds Carpet Cleaning and McDonalds Farm. She is a member of the Midway United Methodist Church in Prescott and the widow of Glynn McDonald. She is preceded in death by her parents, her husband, three brothers; Almer, Clyde and Doyle Willis, two sisters, Martha Jane Crowder and infant sister, Elizabeth Willis and daughter-in-law, Cheryl McDonald. She is survived by her four sons; Jerry McDonald and Shryl of Texarkana, Arkansas, Larry McDonald and Debbie of Texarkana, Texas, David McDonald and Kay Thomas of Prescott and Dr. Hilton McDonald and Kathy of Joplin, Missouri, her six brothers, Frank, Fred, Arthur, Jimmy, Herbert and Coy Willis, her two sisters; Shirley Reese and Carolyn Misenheimer, 16 grandchildren and 20 great-grandchildren. The McDonald Family will receive friends 6:00 to 8:00pm, Friday, April 13 at Brazzel/Cornish The Funeral Home of Prescott. Funeral service for Mrs. McDonald will be 10:00am, Saturday, April 14, 2012 in the Chapel of Brazzel/Cornish Funeral Home in Prescott. Rev. Jerry G. Westmoreland and Rev.
