Mr. LaVerne McVey, age 74 of Prescott , Arkansas passed away Sunday, November 13, 2016 in Texarkana , Texas .  He was born July 4, 1942 in Larned , Kansas to Kenneth and Marie Koons McVey.  Mr. McVey was of the Baptist faith and worked in the poultry industry.  He is preceded in death by parents, his wife, Bonnie Marie Lewis McVey, a brother; Ronald McVey and a grandson; Josh Turner.

Survivors include; two sons; Roman McVey of Hope and Dane McVey of Conway, six daughters; Dawn Mathis of Conway, Mia Clifton, husband, Michael of Hope, Amber Turner, husband, Richard of Prescott, Tara Harrison of Murfreesboro, Misty Cato of Ashdown and Quinn McVey of Hope, brother; Larry McVey of Kansas, sister; Rhonda Kinderknecht of Ellis, Kansas, numerous grandchildren and numerous great-grandchildren other relatives and friends.

Visitation will be 6:00 to 8:00pm on Thursday, November 17, 2016 at BRAZZEL/Cornish Funeral Home 1196 Hwy. 371 West in Prescott .
