Lee Artis Burton, Sr . was born on August 12, 1936 to the late Sammy and Mary Burton. Preceded him in death, Wife:  Lizer Burton, Son:  Jimmy Burton, and Four Grandchildren:  Tamarqus Love, Autry Jr., Xavier, and Corwin Burton.  Brother:  Lonnie Burton, Sisters:  Purnella Moss, Essie Bell Flowers, Gladys F. Taylor, Marie Black, and Helen Owens.

Later in life, he became a faithful member of Universal True Holiness until his health failed him.

On October 26, 1965, he was united to Lizer Ellis Burton, of Canfield, AR and to this union 12 children were born. His Children:  Autry (Michelle) Burton, Gail (Rico) McClenton, Wayne (Kim) Burton, Lee Artis Jr. (Chanaya) Burton, Virginia Burton, Rebecca (Vincent) Love, Michael (Denise) Burton, Sabrina (Thomas) Ellison, Jason Burton, Alex Burton, Crystal (Chester) Moore, all of Hope, AR; Patsy Jack of Bradley, AR; Daisy Lee Burton of Kansas. Sister:  Thelma Wise of Merrillville, Indiana Forty-Five Grandchildren, Twenty-Eight Great-Grandchildren, and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends. Live in Grandchild:  Jaqualin Henry.

Visitation for Mr. Burton will be Friday, June 2, 2017 between the hours of 5:00 and 7:00pm at BRAZZEL/Oakcrest Funeral Home 1001 South Main Hope, AR.
