Mr. Leonard Buford Eley, Jr, age 54 of Columbus, Arkansas passed away, Monday, October 3, 2016 in a Texarkana, Texas hospital. Mr. Eley was born September 23, 1962 in Indianapolis, Indiana. He was a member of the Columbus Baptist Church in Columbus, Arkansas and was a self-employed heavy equipment operator. He is preceded in death by his step-father; James Caldwell and his mother; Grace Francis Hatfield Caldwell.

Survivors include, a step-son; Earl Small of Hope, a step-daughter; Trinity Vanderslice of Stamps, two sisters; Cora Clendenin of Columbus, AR and Gladys McLellan of North Carolina, numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

Visitation will be 6:00 to 8:00pm, Thursday, October 6, 2016 at BRAZZEL/Oakcrest Funeral Home in Hope.
