Lera Hart, loving wife, mother, grandmother, and great grandmother went home to be with her Lord and Savior on September 12, 2008. She was born to Charlie and Lemma Dillard onFebruary 19, 1921 in Rosston, Arkansas. Soon after graduating fromhigh school, she marriedHerman Felts Hart, her husband of62 years, who preceded her in death in April, 2001.Lera and Felts lived in Arkansas most of their married life until 1957. They moved toTexas whereFelts worked forTexas EasternandLeramade custom drapes for40 years. Following Felts retirement in 1978, they moved to Baytown where she continued to make drapes for several years. She was a member ofCedar Bayou Baptist Church and amember of the Joy classfor many years. She and her husband enjoyedtraveling throughout the US with friends and family. Her hobbies included working in her flower beds, crafts, sewing, and crocheting. She is preceded in death by her parents, her brothers and sister-in-laws: Hollis and Edith Dillard, Collis and Odeal Dillard, H. D. and Selena (May) Dillard, and a sister Lois Dillard. Mrs. Hart is survived by her three daughters:Jo Ann Ingrum, and her husband Stanley, Betty Troutman, and her husband Jerrell, and Sandra Tilton, and her husband Chris. Also surviving are grandchildrenKent (Kay) Ingrum, Kyle (Anna) Ingrum, Kelly (Martha) Ingrum, Tiffany (Todd) Franke, Angie (Daryl) Daniel, Michelle Tilton, Christie (Curt) Hahn, and Paige (Bryan) Kejonen. She is also survived by 22 great-grandchildren: Ryan, Hilary, Zack, Isaac, John, Katherine Hart, Lila, and Joy Ingrum, Toby and Tymon Franke, Cyah, Halley, Ashby, and Camrin Daniel, Whitney Smith, Christopher and Cade Dillard, Cole, Cahrie, and Carson Hahn, and Kylee and Kynlee Kejonen. Many nieces and nephews also survive her. Leraloved doing anything with her family and enjoyed hearing stories about all of them. She was a much-loved mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, and aunt. She will be greatly missed by all. The family wants to express appreciation and gratitude to her extended family Gwen, Tasha, Lisa, Carrie, and Rosemary who has given her exceptional care and love while at St. James. The family requests that, in lieu of flowers, memorials may be made toa church or charity of your choice.
