Mr. Leyon B. Trucks, 80 of Hope passed away Wednesday, May 11, 2011 at St. Michaels Hospital in Texarkana. Mr. Trucks was born, Saturday, June 7, 1930 in Etowah, Arkansas to Abner Benjamin and Nelli Ann Maxwell Trucks. Mr. Trucks was a self-employed carpenter, a US Army Veteran, and a member of the House of Hope. Mr. Trucks was preceded in death by his parents, three sons; Donald Wayne Trucks, Leyon Benjamin Trucks, Jr. and Bennie Eugene Trucks, a brother, Doil Wayne Trucks and grandson; John Trucks. He is survived by his devoted wife, Dorothy Trucks of Hope, two daughters; Brenda and Milton Morgan of Hosston, Louisiana and Leigh Ann Craven of Jacksonville, Florida, a brother; David Trucks of Pollock, Louisiana, six grandchildren, six great-grandchildren and 2 great-great-grandchildren.
