Our LilaMom passed gently in the home that she shared with family for many years, where she watched her grandchildren grow up, go away to Christian colleges, and form their own families.  She was 90 years old.  She was a constant, loving and gentle presence in the household.  She was a member of the Church of Christ.

She is predeceased by her husband Robert Hursel Loe, her sisters Geneva Boyd, Mary Lou Grimes, Betty Riley, and brother Jerry Cottingham, as well as her son-in-law Richard Calhoun.

Lila Cottingham Loe is survived by her sisters Joyce Floyd and LaDon Woolverton, and brother Tommy Cottingham.  She also leaves behind her daughter Nancy Calhoun and son Robert Loe.  LilaMom's cherished grandchildren, grandson Devin Calhoun and wife Kensey, with their daughters Adeline and Grace, her granddaughter Whitney and husband Kyle Bridges, and granddaughter Haleigh and husband Dalton Sides, were the delights and pride of her life.

In lieu of flowers, the family suggests donations be made to the Christian charity of your choice or to the ministry of Little Hearts School at Lakeside Church of Christ, 1500 Breckenridge Road, Mansfield, Texas, 76063
