Mrs. Lillian Langston, 96 of Searcy, formerly of Prescott, passed away, Tuesday, June 5 at her home in Searcy. She was born June 21, 1915 in Cale, Arkansas to Edgar Euri and Zula May Godley Alsobrook. She was a home maker and a member of Central Baptist Church in Prescott. She is preceded in death by her parents, her husband, Howard A. Langston in 1974, they had 42 years of marriage, a stillborn son, her brothers; Edgar Lloyd Alsobrook and Elwood DeWoody, her sisters; Pattie Jane Sameulson, Pauline Alsobrook and Lois Alsobrook. She is survived by her son, David Langston and wife, Penny of Searcy, Arkansas, a brother; Thomas Alsobrook of Oklahoma 3 grandchildren, 9 great-grandchildren and 6 great-great-grandchildren other family members and friends. The Langston Family will receive friends, 6:00 to 8:00pm, Thursday, June 7 at Brazzel/Oakcrest The Funeral Home of Hope. Funeral service for Mrs. Langston will be 10:00am, Friday, June 8, at the Chapel of Brazzel/Oakcrest The Funeral Home of Hope. Bro. Rodney Langston and Bro.
