Mrs. Linda Avery, age 82 of Prescott, AR, passed away Thursday, August 5, 2021, at a local nursing home. She was born March 25, 1929 to Henry and Myra Womble Hendrix in Delight, Arkansas. She was a member of Prescott Church of Christ. She absolutely loved children and they loved "Mrs. Avery". Over the years, she had babysat for 100+ children. She brought a special light to the lives of everyone who knew her. She will be dearly missed. She is preceded in death by her parents; two brothers, Kenneth Hendrix, Willard Hendrix; sisters, June South and Mary May; and one son, Todd Avery.

Those left to cherish her memory are: her beloved husband of 62 years, Glenn Avery of Prescott, AR; one son, Ken Avery of Texarkana, AR; one brother, Alton Hendrix of Spokane, WA; two grandchildren, Zack Avery and Brittnee Westerfield; four great-grandchildren, Travis Avery, Ellie Avery, Sara Westerfield, Jacob Westerfield; a host of loved ones and friends.

Visitation will be 1:00pm to 2:00 pm Sunday, August 8, 2021 at BRAZZEL/Cornish, 1196 Hwy 371, Prescott, AR 71857.
