Mrs. Linda Faye Bennett, age 62 of Prescott passed away, Tuesday, April 8, 2014 at her home. Mrs. Bennett was born April 24, 1951 in Prescott, Arkansas to Paul H. and Vera Mae Green Cross. Linda was a home maker and a member of Morris Baptist Church in Caney. She enjoyed cooking for her family, quilting and sewing. She was known as "Grannie" to her grand-kids, and she loved to play and spend time with them. She is preceded in death by her parents, her brothers; Billy and Ronnie Cross. Survivors include; two sons; David Jackson, wife Angela Echols of Hot Springs and Tim Jackson of Hope, her daughter; Patty Cole of Prescott and her eight grandchildren; Cody Fortner, Tanner Fortner, Tyler Cole, Paul Cole, Christian Echols, Robert Jackson, Dawson Jackson and Kara Franklin. Visitation, 6:00 to 8:00pm, Wednesday, April 9, 2014 at Brazzel/Cornish Funeral Home in Prescott. Funeral service, 3:00pm, Thursday, April 10, 2014 at Brazzel/Cornish Funeral Home in Prescott, with Bro. Mike Steed officiating. Burial will be in Pleasant Ridge Cemetery in Prescott.
