Linda Stark Hastings was born September 20, 1956 in Hope, Arkansas.  She passed away on February 15, 2025 surrounded by her family.

Linda grew up in Hope.  She pursued her dream of becoming a nurse, and devoted her life to taking care of others.  She worked in a variety of settings, including hospitals, operating rooms, family practice, and eventually managed a CNA school.  She loved traveling with her family and spending time watching the waves at the beach.  She enjoyed reading,  journaling, and was always adding notes to her planner that was always at her side.  She also loved animals and would take in any stray that found its way to her.

She was preceded in death by her mother Syble Stark, father Norbourn Stark, sisters Patricia Griffin and Barbara Estes, and brothers Gordon Irvin and Jimmy Maxwell.

She is survived by her loving husband Phil Hastings, son Casey Hastings (Kara), grandchildren Jax Hastings and Ella Hastings, sister Carolyn Hicks (Bob), as well as a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and close friends.

A memorial service will be held Sunday March 2, 2025 at 2:00 pm at Southside Baptist Church in Hope, AR.
