Mr. Lloyd E. Tyra, age 79 of Emmet, Arkansas passed away Tuesday, January 26, 2022 in Nashville, Arkansas. Mr. Lloyd was born November 21, 1942 to Archie and Irma Jean Baldwin Tyra, in Little Rock, Arkansas. He was a veteran of the U.S. Navy, having served in Vietnam, and co-owner of L&T Flooring. He enjoyed spending time with family, riding motorcycles, hunting and fishing. He is preceded in death by his parents, step-father Leroy Godwin, and one daughter-in-law, Ana Tyra.

He is survived by his children John Tyra and Penny Flanigan (Dean); step-children, Shawna Boyd (Tim), David Villiard, and Bobby Villiard; one brother, Lee Tyra; step-brother, Deryl Godwin; and long-time companion, Kathy Sidoti. He is also survived by eight grandchildren: Ashley, Kyle, Carrie, Marc, Lisa, Jessie, Joni, and Jannel (Michael). Seven great-grandchildren: Donovan, Katlyn, Madison, Derric, Paris, Paisley, and Dawson; a host of family and friends.

Memorial service will be held at 4:00pm Saturday, January 29, 2022 at BRAZZEL/Oakcrest Funeral Home, 1001 S Main, Hope, AR 71801.
