Mrs. Lois Lorene Beckham, age 88, of Kingwood, Texas, formerly of Hope, Arkansas passed away Tuesday, August 19, 2014 in Kingwood, Texas. She was born October 23, 1925, in Bartlet, Oklahoma to Henry Hugh and Emma D. England Black. Mrs. Beckham was a retired Banker and a member of Calvary Baptist Church in Hope, she loved to garden and sew. Mrs. Beckham was preceded in death by her parents, husband O.B. Beckham, daughter, Frances Laughli, brothers, Howard H. Black and Harlan H. Black. Mrs. Beckham is survived by her daugther, Linda Lois Faires of New Caney, Texas, grandchildren, Jason Laughlin, Shannon McElrath, Lee McElrath III and Shane Faires, great-grandchildren, Kaclinn McMlrath and Naysa McElrath. Visitation for Mrs. Beckham will be 12:00 to 2:00pm, Sunday, August 31, 2014, at Brazzel/Oakcrest Funeral Home.
