Mrs. Lois Taylor, age 86 of Hope, Arkansas passed away, Tuesday, December 5, 2017 at Heather Manor Nursing Home in Hope, Arkansas. Mrs. Taylor was born in Osawatomie, Kansas on December 13, 1930 to Earl A. and Audrey D. Cox Clearwater.  She was a retired store clerk for Safeway Grocery Company for many years.  She was a member of the Cass County Cowboy Church in Atlanta, Texas and enjoyed spending time with her church family. Lois is preceded in death by her parents Earl and Audrey Clearwater, her husbands James B. Laphier and Glen W. Taylor, a brother Elmer Clearwater and a grand-daughter Amanda Renee Gearlds

Her survivors include; two sons James A. "Jim" Laphier of Oskaloosa, Iowa and Michael J. Laphier of Atlanta, Texas, her three daughters Diane Hensley of Ashdown, Arkansas, Beverly Calhoun and husband Jim of Hope, Arkansas and Deb Schuldt of Montezuma, Iowa, and her sister Earlene Dawson of Little Rock, Arkansas and nine grandchildren, other family members and friends.

The Taylor Family will receive friends 6:00 to 8:00pm on Friday, December 8, 2017 at BRAZZEL/Oakcrest The Funeral Home 1001 S. Main Hope, AR.

Graveside service will be 10:00am on Saturday, December 9, 2017 at Beech Creek Cemetery on Farm to Market Road 249 in Atlanta, Texas with Bro.
