Mr. Lonnie Ray Toland, age 65 of Roxie, Mississippi, passed away, Saturday, September 5, 2015 in Hope, Arkansas. Mr. Toland was born on July 10, 1945 in Marianna, Arkansas to Wilburn Rollin and Mary Sue Warren Toland. He had served his country faithfully during the Vietnam War in the US Army. He was a member and attended the Shover Springs Baptist Church near Hope and was a Correctional Officer with the Texas Department of Prison System. He is preceded in death by his parents, one brother; Donnie Roy Toland and one nephew, R.D. Toland. Survivors include; five daughters; Mary Ann Yarbrough, husband, Ricky of Dallas, TX, Amanda Stricklett, husband, Kevin of Snyder, TX, Pamela Fortin of Odessa, TX, Jeanne Ott of Abilene, TX, and Sonja Baker of Roxie, MS; two brothers W.R. "Dick" Toland, wife, Sue of Hope, Gerald Raymond Toland, wife, Barbie of Haskell, AR, two sisters; Donna Sue Daniel and Dorothy Watson both of Hope, many nieces, nephews, grandchildren and great grandchildren, other family members and friends. Graveside service for Mr. Toland will be 10:00am, Wednesday, September 9, 2015 at Golden Cemetery, located on AR Hwy. 8 West of Arkadelphia. Bro. Eric Barbaree will officiate.
