Mrs. Louise Shafer Johnson, 81, of Hope, Arkansas, passed away on Saturday, October 18, 2008, at Pinehope Health and Rehab Center, Hope, Arkansas. She was born on August 6, 1927, in New Orleans, LA., to Louis and Frances Mary Purvina Shafer. She was a homemaker and retired restaurant owner. She was a member of Unity Baptist Church in Pineville, Louisiana and attended Calvary Baptist Church, Hope, Ark. She was preceded in death by her parents; by one grandson, Stephen Johnson. HER SURVIVORS INCLUDE: ONE SON: Sonny Johnson and Paula, Hope, Ark. Three Grandchildren: Matthew Johnson, Atlanta, Georgia. Eric Johnson, Atlanta, Georgia. Brittany Rogers, Hope, Arkansas. GRAVESIDE SERVICE will be 2:00 p.m., Monday, October 20, 2008, at Greenwood Cemetery, Pineville, Louisiana, with officiating. Burial to follow.
