MRS. LOUISE ELLIS RHODES, 80, of Caney, Arkansas, passed away on Monday, March 17,2008, at Christus St. Michaels Health Systems, Texarkana, TX. She was born on November 16, 1927, in Sutton, Ark., to Arlis and Pearl Jordan Ellis. She was a homemaker and farmed most of her life. She was a member of Morris Baptist Church, Caney, Ark. She was preceded by her husband, Howard Rhodes, one brother, Shorty Ellis, and by one great-grandson, Tyler Gourley. SURVIVED: Three Sons: Ellis Rhodes, Laneburg, Ark. Mike Rhodes and Jo Ann, Hot Springs, Ark. Bill Rhodes and Marcia, Caney, Ark. Two Special Sons: Pat Polk, Cabot, Ark. Howard White, Dallas, TX. Two Sister-In-Laws: Beth Ellis, Prescott, Ark. Helen Jordan, Prescott, Ark. Six Grandchildren. Christy Gourley, and Wayne, Caney, Ark. Brandon Rhodes and Shelly, Caney, Ark. Mark Rhodes, Cale Ark. Jay Rhodes and Jennifer, Hot Springs, Ark. Kayla Taylor and Jeff, Cale, Ark. Madi Rhodes, Little Rock, Ark. And Eight Great-Grandchildren. FUNERAL SERVICES will be 10:00 a.m., Thursday, March 20, 2008, at Morris Baptist Church, Caney Ark., with Rev. Tal Webb and Rev. Sam Tamburo officiating.
