Mrs. Loyce Thompson 80, of Prescott, Arkansas passed away Sunday, June 13, 2010 at Medical Park Hospital, Hope, Arkansas. She was born March 8, 1930, in Nevada County, Arkansas, to Sherman and Lula Mae McKenzie Riggs. She was a retired school bus driver and also retired from the Southwest Arkansas Food Bank in Arkadelphia, Ark. She was a former board of director for the Food Bank also; a member of the Rebels Riding Club and a member of the South Arkansas Horse Show Association. She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Floyd Chuck Thompson; two brothers, Franklin Sylvester Riggs and Sherman Riggs, II; one sister, Denver White and one great-grandson, Jacob Thompson. HER SURVIVORS INCLUDE: One Son: Tommie Thompson, Prescott, Ark. One Daughter: Gail Palomino and Diego, Prescott, Ark. One Sister: Mary Flanagan, Fort Smith, Ark. Two Grandchildren: Tammy Glass, Prescott, Ark. Tommy Chuck Thompson, Bearden, Ark. And Six Great-Grandchildren, and several other relatives and friends. FUNERAL SERVICES will be 10:00 a.m., Tuesday, June 15, 2010, at Brazzel/Cornish Funeral Home Chapel, Prescott, Arkansas, with Rev. Perry Johnson officiating.
