MRS. LUCILLE BONDS AVERY, 78, of Texarakana, Ark. (Formerly of Blevins, Ark.) passed away Friday, January 23, 2009, at her home. She was born on December 24, 1930 in Hempstead County Arkansas to Sanford and Inez Honea Bonds. She was a beautician, former employee of Howards Discount Stores for 20 years and region assistant for Walmart in Texarkana for 15+ years. She was a member of the St. Lukes United Methodist Church in Texarkana. She was preceded in death by her parents. HER SURVIVORS INCLUDE: HER HUSBAND: ( of 58 years) Homer Hudson Avery, Texarkana, Arkansas. ONE DAUGHTER: Glenna Bennett and Barry, Texarkana, Texas. ONE BROTHER: Lavelle Bonds, Blevins, Ark. ONE SISTER: Mary Beth Stallsworth and John, Blevins, Ark. TWO GRANDCHILDREN: Chris Bennett and Mystee, Texarkana, TX. Erin Bennett and Jeremy Rylee, Texarkana, TX. FOUR GREAT-GRANDCHILDREN: Madison, Aidyn, Presley and Stormee. And Several Nieces and Nephews. GRAVESIDE SERVICE will be 2:00 p.m., Sunday, January 25, 2009, at Marlbrook Cemetery, Blevins, Ark., with Rev. Jerry G. Westmoreland officiating. Burial will follow.
