Lucille Evelyn McCorkle passed away quietly on Monday, June 21, 2021. She was born on July 18, 1921 to Robert and Annie McCormack, and resided in Hempstead County her entire life. She was a member of Unity Baptist Church and loved her church dearly.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Cecil McCorkle and son, Mike McCorkle.

She is survived by her son, Wendel McCorkle and wife Kay and daughter Sandra White and husband Bob. She had four grandchildren: Chrisy Currier, Bitsy Carter, Jillian Birge and Todd White. Great-grandchildren: Nate Carter, Ali Currier, Logan Currier, Mason Currier and Brighton Birge.

A graveside service will be held at 10:00AM Wednesday, June 23, 2021 at Memory Gardens, with Bro. Jay Pollan and Bro. Neal Ridling officiating.
