Mrs. Lucille "Sidney" Steed, age 92 of Prescott, Arkansas passed away Friday December 25, 2020, in a local nursing home. Sidney was born on September 23, 1928, in Laneburg, Arkansas, to William Benjamin and Edith Blanch Loe. She worked for Southwest Printing and Shan House in Hope. She loved to quilt and especially taking care of people in their time of need. She is preceded in death by her parents, husband Bro. Elvin Steed, four sisters, Era Loe Baker, Dera Brown Loe (Baby), Mary Lou Loe, Juanita Hicks, eight, brothers, Algie, Edgar, Joe, Thomas "A. D." Robert, W. B. "Junior" Abram and Ardell Loe.

Survivors include: one son, Phillip Steed and wife DeEdra of Melbourne, Arkansas; one brother, Ottis Loe and wife Joy of McCaskill, Arkansas; one sister, Ellen Sue Dougan, White Hall, Arkansas; four grandchildren, Chase and wife Autumn of Sulphur Rock, Arkansas, Chance Steed of Melbourne, Arkansas, Keith Wallis of Springfield, Missouri and Kayla Wallis of Mountain Home, Arkansas; two great-grandchildren, Zane and Zaylor Walker of mountain Home, Arkansas; numerous nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.

No family visitation is planned.

The family wishes to give a Big Thanks to the whole staff at Hillcrest Nursing and Rehab, especially Heather.

Graveside service will be 2:00pm on Sunday, December 27, 2020 at Caney Cemetery, with Bro. Mike Steed officiating. Burial will follow in Caney Cemetery.
