Mrs. Margaret Louise Fowler, age 84, of Hope, Arkansas, passed away on Tuesday, January 4, 2011, in Austin, Texas. She was born on August 5, 1926, in Limestone County, Texas, to John B. and Ella Lenamond, where she was also raised. She met and married James S. Fowler in 1944, just prior to him leaving for WWII. Due to the nature of Jim's job, they moved frequently in and around the Gulf Coast of Texas and Louisiana and then retired to Hope. Before Jim passed, they celebrated 59 years of marriage together. Margaret and Jim both enjoyed traveling, seeing the countryside and visiting music themed parks. In her 84 years of life, Margaret never stopped going. She had trouble just sitting still and would pack her bags to take off on a trip at the drop of a hat. She enjoyed being around family and friends; but, her number one favorite thing to do was shopping. She could spend the entire day just shopping around for nothing and everything. She could be impulsive but would also make plans. But, when she decided to do something, she would jump into it with both feet. She could be generous to a fault. She truly was a free spirit. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband James S. Fowler, five brothers: Granvel Lenamond, Rex Lenamond, Herman Lenamond, John Earl Lenamond , John B. Lenamond, Jr., and one sister Rita Wilson. Her Survivors Include One Son: James G. Butch Fowler, Pearland, Texas. One Daughter: Dianne Madariaga, Austin, Texas. One Sister: Lorene King, Fort Worth, Texas. Seven Grandchildren: Keith R. Bond, Moses Lake, Washington; Kimberly R. Bond, Austin, Texas; John Revell, Rockwall, Texas; Bryan Revell, Chesapeake, Virginia; Jeff Fowler, Leander, Texas; Joshua Fowler, Denton, Texas and Jessica Fowler Ratliff, College Station, Texas. Five Great-Grandchildren: Alexa Bond. Moses Lake, Washington; Dylan Bond, Moses Lake, Washington; Colton Fowler, Leander, Texas; Bryn Fowler, Leander, Texas and Aiden Revell, Chesapeake, Virginia. And numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. Funeral Services will be 2:00 p.m. Saturday, January 8, 2011, at Brazzel/Oakcrest Funeral Home Chapel, Hope, Arkansas, with Rev. Gene Ross officiating. Burial to follow in Friendship Cemetery, McCaskill, Arkansas. Arrangements by Brazzel/Oakcrest The Funeral Home of Hope, Arkansas.
