Mrs. Margaret Martin, age 90 passed away Sunday April 9, 2018 in Hope. Mrs. Martin was born on October 9, 1927, in Hope, Arkansas to Chester and Lottie Wilkerson Phippin. She was a homemaker and a member of First Baptist Church where she was Recognized for 45 years of service in the children's Sunday School Department. She also was voted Jaycette of the year, avid Bridge Player and a member of March of Dimes. She is preceded in death by her husband J. B. Martin of seventy years, brother Bob Phippin, sister Lottie Herring, great-granddaughter Savannah Grace and niece Jill Herring Wheelington.

Survivors include; one daughter Tina Burke, husband Bo of Hope, Arkansas, sister-in-law Geraldine Shelton of Beaumont, Texas, special niece Jan Herring of Hope, Arkansas, three grandchildren, Chad Burke, wife Rachel of Brighton, Tennessee, Josh Burke of Cordova, Tennessee and Allison Burke Lee, husband Glenn of Hope, Arkansas and seven great grandchildren, Emily, Brad, Taylor, Wrigley, Hayden, Curry and Keely, and a host of relatives and friends.

Visitation will be 5:00pm to 7:00pm on Thursday April 12, 2018 at BRAZZEL/Oakcrest 1001 South Main, Hope, Arkansas.
