Mrs. Margaret Cornelius Polk, age 96 of Hope, Arkansas passed away, Thursday, April 28, 2016 at her home. Margaret was born January 19, 1920 in Bodcaw, Arkansas to Jess and Alma Russell Cornelius. She was a lifelong member of First Baptist Church and a retired nurse. Her greatest enjoyment in life was putting her family first and taking care of other people in their time of need. She is preceded in death by her parents; Jess and Alma Cornelius, husband Minor Dale Polk, son; Arthur Dale Polk, daughter; Mitzi Polk, three brothers and three sisters.

Survivors include three daughters; Florence McGaugh of Eldorado, Arkansas, Margaret Kidd and her husband Ronnie of Hope, Arkansas and Toni Polk Mayo of Hope, Arkansas, seven grandchildren; Russell McGaugh and his wife Tracy of Eldorado, Arkansas, Bryan McGaugh and his wife Thu also of Eldorado, Arkansas, Donna McGaugh Hale and her husband Murray of Marion Louisiana, Ashlyn Mayo Amerson of Hope, Arkansas, Tyler Mayo of Hope, Arkansas, Matt Kidd and his wife Laura of Nashville, Arkansas, Grant Kidd and his wife Tracy of Little Rock, Arkansas, numerous great grandchildren, nieces, nephews other relatives and friends.

Visitation will be 2:00 to 3:00pm, Saturday, April 30, 2016 at Brazzel/Oakcrest Funeral Home.
