Mrs. Margie Ellen Lively, age 87 of Prescott, Arkansas passed away, Wednesday, May 21, 2014. Mrs. Lively was born in Jonesboro, Arkansas on March 15, 1927 to Lawrence Jones and Mary Ellen Dan Jones. She was a retired real estate broker and a member of the Church of Christ. She is preceded in death by her parents, the father of her children; James Daniel Stayton, and husband, John Lively, her daughter, Dale Hopkins and her three sisters; Mattie Poole, Pauline Sharp and Pearline Smith. Margie was a wonderful caregiver to her daughter, Dale for over 23 years. She was also, the special family member that kept her family connected to their heritage in Arkansas. She was deeply loved by her family and friends and will be missed by those that knew her. Survivors include; her son; Rowe Stayton, wife, Brenda of Prescott, AR, daughter; Jeanne Jester, husband, John of Arkadelphia, AR, 11 grandchildren, 12 great-grandchildren and 2 great-great-grandchildren. Graveside service, 2:00pm, Friday, May 23, 2014 at Grove Hill Cemetery 3920 Samuell Blvd. Dallas, Texas 75228. Bro. Doyle Sharp will officiate the service.
