MRS. MARGUERITE AVERY, 83, of Prescott, Arkansas, passed away on Wednesday, Feb. 13,2008, at Medical Park Hospital, Hope, AR She was born on October 21, 1924, in Prescott, AR. to Alexander and Alta Myra Garrett Avery. She was riveter during World War II, a seamstress, former employee of the City Caf in Prescott and former owner/operator of Eastside Cleaners in Prescott, Ark. for many many years. She was a Methodist; Garden Club member; B & P.W. of Prescott member and played the clarinet in the Band. She was preceded in death by her parents and by one nephew, Steve Hawley. HER SURVIVORS INCLUDE: ONE SISTER: Betty Hawley, Prescott, Ark. ONE NIECE: Connie McKelvy, Bluff City, Ark. ONE GREAT-NIECE: Astin Hawley and Hayden Loudermilk, Prescott, Ark. TWO GREAT-NEPHEWS: Joseph McKelvy and Sharlotte, Camden, Ark. Daniel McKelvy and Jade, Prescott, Ark. GREAT-GREAT-NIECE: Tori Lane, Blevins, Ark. FUNERAL SERVICES will be 2:00 p.m., Saturday, February 16, 2008, at Brazzel/Cornish Funeral Home Chapel, Prescott, Ark., with Rev. Jerry G. Westmoreland officiating. Burial to follow in DeAnn Cemetery, Prescott, Ark. Arrangements by Brazzel/Cornish Funeral Home, Prescott, Arkansas.
