Mrs. Marguerite Mhoon Godwin, 83 of Hope, Arkansas passed away Thursday, February 18, 2010 in Medical Park Hospital in Hope, Arkansas. She was born April 22, 1926, in Monticello, Arkansas, to Arthur B. and Alice Stratton Mhoon. She was a retired owner/operator of Mhoons Jewelry Store of Hope, Ark. and a member of the Hope/Hempstead County Republican Womens Committee. She was preceded in death by her parents; one brother, Arthur J. Buddy Mhoon; and one sister, Reba Morgan. HER SURVIVORS INCLUDE: ONE SON: Byron Godwin, Hope, Arkansas. One Grandson; Casey Godwin and Nicolle, Hope, Arkansas. Three Great-Grandchildren: Haellie, Gage and Hunter Godwin, all of Hope, Arkansas. Four Nephews: Steve Mhoon, Dallas, TX, Artie Mhoon, Hope, Arkansas, James Morgan, Nevada, Jerry Morgan, Nevada, and many other relatives and friends.
