Mrs. Marie Murrah Eley, age 95 of Prescott, Arkansas passed away peacefully, Sunday, afternoon, January 10, 2016 at the Hillcrest Nursing Home in Prescott. Mrs. Eley was born December 3, 1920 in Prescott, Arkansas, to Walter P. and Gladys Hawkins Murrah. Mrs. Eley was a lifelong member of First United Methodist Church in Prescott for 85 years and retired as a secretary for the church. After retirement, she continued to be church treasurer for a many number of years. Mrs. Eley is preceded in death by her parents, Walter and Gladys Murrah, her husband, Charles Wayne Eley, three sisters; Evelyn Sue Bomar, Hazel Helen Bryson, and Norma Rene Murrah.

Survivors include: one son, Bruce Eley of Ballwin, Missouri, one sister, Wanda Joy Anderson of Camden Arkansas, and numerous nieces and nephews, relatives, and friends.

There will be no family visitation.

Funeral Service is 2:00pm Wednesday January 13, 2016 at First United Methodist Church in Prescott with Rev. Jerry Westmoreland and Rev. Larry Martineau officiating.
