Mrs. Marilyn Smith, age 83 of Hope, Arkansas, passed away Friday January 24, 2025, in Texarkana, Texas. Marilyn was born in Millville, Minnesota, on May 28, 1941, to Emil and Helen Tyler Klein. She was a member of Anderson Baptist Church. She is preceded in death by her parents.

Survivors include her husband, Donald Smith, four daughters, Julie Moore, (David) Hope, Arkansas, Lisa Garrett, Hot Springs, Arkansas, Shelia Adams (Mark) Hope, Arkansas, Dana Powell, one son Jim Oexman of Hope Arkansas, brother, Charles Klein, two sisters, Marcella Hoffman, Lake City, Minnesota, Linda Koehler, Rochester, Minnesota, eight grandchildren, a host of extended family and friends.

Visitation will be 1:00pm to 2:00pm on Monday January 27, 2025, at Anderson Baptist Church.

Funeral service will be 2:00pm on Monday January 27, 2025, at Anderson Baptist Church with Bro. Gary Bolin officiating. Burial will follow in Anderson Cemetery.
