Martha Stell Harris Sisson, age 94, of Hope, Arkansas passed away on October 29, 2026, surrounded by family.

Mrs. Sisson was born on December 25, 1931, in Prescott, Arkansas to her parents, Montgomery and Grace McDougal Sisson, Sr.

Martha loved fishing, spending time with friends, and she was known to be an excellent cook.

She is preceded in death by her parents; her husband Harley Edward Sisson Jr.; grandson, Dusty Allen Sisson; two sisters, Elizabeth Harris Tinsley, Esther Harris Wilson; seven brothers, Hayden Harris, Ralph Harris, Paul Harris, John Harris, James “Chubby” Harris, Montgomery Harris, Jr., and Joe Harris.

Left to cherish her memory are her children, Cindy (Vic) Ford, Harley (Judy) Sisson, Jr., David (Amy) Sisson; nine grandchildren, Daniel (Kyla) Hamilton, Adam (Courtney) Hamilton, Emily (Kelly) Davis, Beth (Eric) Burnett, Natalie (Wes) Wood, Lauren Powers, Rachel (Shaun) Hatch, Melanie (Kyle) Crumpler, Lainey (Devon) McMurtrey; along with eleven great grandchildren.

A graveside service will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Monday, November 2, 2026, at Mount Moriah Cemetery with Shaun Hatch officiating under the direction of Brazzel-Oakcrest Funeral Home, The Funeral Home of Hope, Ben Brazzel, Director.
