Mrs. Marthe Marguerite "Mome" Malardier Gioana, 86 of Hope passed away peacefully in her sleep Thursday, July 16, 2009, at her home. She was born in Guignes, France on January 14, 1923, to Claude Rene and Marguerite Helen Chaive Malardier. Our angel here on earth has returned home and is now at peace. Mome was very nurturing, considerate, loving and cared for her family deeply. She suffered from Alzheimers at the end of her life and her family was able to return the care that she had lovingly given to them. Her memories will be cherished and her admirable qualities will live on through her family. She was preceded in death by her parents;her husband, Roger Pepe Gioana,who died in 2004; two sons and two brothers. She will be greatly missed. Jacqueline Trevot, France. Five Grandchildren: Stephanie Brown and Danny, Hope, Ark. Stacy Smith, Hope, Ark. Nathalie Tucker and Cameron, Nashville, Ark. Valerie Smith, Hope, Ark. Sandra Gioana, France Three Great-Grandchildren: Cory and Collin Brown, Hope, Ark. Jacinda Casper, Hope, Ark. One Nephew: Paul Rene Malardier and Shawnda, Spring Hill, Ark.
