Mr. Marvin Arterbury, age 90 of Blevins, Arkansas passed away Sunday, May 8, 2016 in Texarkana, Texas.  He was born May 7, 1926 in Falcon, Arkansas to Luther and Ida Hovarter Arterbury. Mr. Arterbury was a retired insurance agent, working for Life and Casualty of Nashville, TN for 34 years.  He was a veteran of the US Army serving in Germany during World War II, and a member of Garrett Memorial Baptist Church in Hope. He is preceded in death by his parents, an infant daughter; Melba June Arterbury, four brothers; Harvey, Henry, Arlis and James Arterbury, and three sisters; Inez Whittington, Avis Thompson and Cleo Hamm.

Survivors include; his wife of 70 years, Bonnie Sue Arterbury of Blevins, three sons; Marvin Lynn Arterbury, wife, Nancy of Saratoga, Arkansas, Michael Dennis Arterbury, wife, Anne of St. Paul, MN and Ronald Lewis Arterbury of Blevins, Arkansas and four grandchildren, other family member and friends.

There will be no formal family visitation time.
