Ms. Mary Elizabeth Thompson, age 90, of Emmet, Arkansas, passed away Monday, August 12, 2013, at her home in Emmet. She was born on July 31, 1923, in Emmet, to O. B. and Eunice Morrow Thompson. Ms. Thompson was a bookkeeper for a number of years and was a member of First Baptist Church of Emmet. She was preceded in death by her parents, and three brothers, Howard, O. B., Jr., and Kenneth Thompson. Ms. Thompson is survived by numerous nieces, nephews and a host of friends. Graveside service for Ms. Thompson will be 10:00 am, Wednesday, August 14, at Snell Cemetery in Emmet, Bro. Johnny Jackson officiating.
