Mrs. Mary R. Gilbert, 97, of Little Rock, Arkansas (formerly a lifelong resident of Crossroads Community of Hempstead County, Arkansas) passed away Saturday, 1 week before her 98th birthday, at Briarwood Rehab Center in Little Rock, Arkansas. She was born on June 20, 1911, in Columbus, Arkansas. She was a homemaker; quilter and gardener and a member of First United Methodist Church of Hope and the former Jett B. Graves Sunday School Class. She was preceded in death by her parents and her husband, Hugh Buster Gilbert. HER SURVIVORS INCLUDE: One Son: James L. Gilbert and wife, Ann, Little Rock, Ark. Two Grandchildren: Jennifer Gilbert Sutherlin and husband, Heath, Rogers, Ark. Brent Christopher Gilbert, Little Rock, Ark. One Great-granddaughter: Addison Grace Sutherlin, Rogers, Ark. And many special nieces, nephews and friends.
