Mrs. Mary Hastings age 82 of Prescott, Arkansas passed away Saturday, January 30, 2016 in Hope. She was born December 10, 1933 in Prescott, Arkansas to Bob and Ethel Tiner Dowing. She was a member of the United Methodist Church in Emmet, Arkansas.  Mary enjoyed fishing and spending time with her family and friends. She is preceded in death by her parents, and two brothers; Robert Dowings and Marshall Lewis.

Survivors include; two sons; Ricky Hastings, wife, Cheryl of Prescott, and Billy Hastings and wife Crystal of Sale Creek, Tennessee, brother; Wayne Lewis and wife, Rita of Hope, sister; Joyce Giedd of Hot Springs seven grandchildren: Trena, Shelly, Tebbie, Josh, Patrick, Clint and Adam and numerous great and great-great grandchildren, other family and friends.

Visitation, 4:00 to 6:00pm, Sunday, January 31, 2016 at BRAZZEL/Cornish Funeral Home  1196 Hwy 371 West in Prescott.

Funeral service, 2:00pm, Monday, February 1, 2016 in the United Methodist Church of Emmet, with Rev. Jerry G. Westmoreland officiating. Burial in Harmony Cemetery, Sutton, AR.  Arrangements are by BRAZZEL/Cornish The Funeral Home of Prescott, Arkansas, Eddie BRAZZEL, Director.
