Mrs. Mary Lou "Lou Lou" Grimes, age 88 of Prescott, Arkansas passed away Monday, April 17, 2017, in Prescott. She was born in Prescott, Arkansas on January 21, 1929 to Jefferson David and Thelma Schoonover Cottingham.  Mrs. Grimes was a retired sales clerk for Western Auto in Prescott, a member of the First United Methodist Church in Prescott. She had worked in the lunch room at Prescott Public Schools and had also, worked at the Exit 44 Truck Stop in Prescott.  In her later years, one of her most favorite time was babysitting her great-grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her husband of 46 years, Hoytt Grimes and a sister; Geneva Boyd.

Survivors include; two sons and daughters-in-law, Randy and Pat Grimes, Timmy and Rhonda Grimes all of Prescott, two brothers; Jerry Cottingham, wife, Catherine of Benton and Tommy Cottingham, wife, Sharon of Bismarck, Arkansas, four sisters; Joyce Floyd of Prescott, Lila Loe of Austin, TX, Betty Riley and LaDon Woolverton both of North Little Rock, Arkansas, four grandchildren: Randall Grimes, wife, Ashlea, Vince Grimes, wife, Tracie, Kevin Grimes, wife, Kimberley, Leslie Grimes, 10 great-grandchildren: Cassidy Angel, Trevor Pipkin, Madison Grimes, Hunter Grimes, Taylor Jarvis, Maggie Grimes, Tatum Jarvis, Chloe Grimes, Tanner Jarvis and Parker Grimes, one great-great-grandchild: Baby Brennan, several nieces and nephews, other relatives and friends.

Visitation for Mrs. Grimes will be 6:00 to 8:00pm on Wednesday, April 19, 2017 at BRAZZEL/Cornish Funeral Home 1196 Hwy 371 West in Prescott.

Funeral service will be 2:00pm on Thursday, April 20, 2017 at BRAZZEL/Cornish Funeral Home Chapel 1196 Hwy. 371 West with Bro. Neil Ridling and Pastor Sue Howe officiating.
