Mrs. Mary Ethel Louise Sengel Floyd, age 68 passed away suddenly Sunday October 2, 2022, in Hope, Arkansas. She born on May 30, 1954, in Little Rock, Arkansas to Harry and Margaret Sengel. Those left to cherish their memory and life are her husband Bruce Floyd, two sons, Lance Aymond and Logan Floyd, three grandchildren and three-great grandchildren, she is survived by one sister Adrienne (Nicky) Webb, mother Margaret Sengel, nephew Jonathan Webb and niece Megan Krantz.  She is preceded in death by her father.

She was employed by Wadley of Hope in medical records for 31 years upon retiring she and her husband enjoyed short trips visiting shops that sold her fabrics and patterns for making quilts. She had a shop built near her home to have space to fill with items to make more quilts. She visited many workshops to learn new patterns for the quilts and  was so pleased when she mastered the difficult patterns.

Mary was a very happy person that loved life. She assisted her mother with home care and making it possible for her to live at home.

Visitation will be 5:00pm to 7:00pm on Tuesday October 4, 2022, at BRAZZEL/Oakcrest 1001 South Main St. Hope Arkansas 71801

Funeral service will be 10:00am on Wednesday October 5, 2022 at BRAZZEL/Oakcrest with Rev. Mark Segoris officiating. Burial will follow in Sweet Home Cemetery Prescott, Arkansas.
