Mrs. Mary Elizabeth Mason, age 66 of Sutton, Arkansas passed away at her home on Monday, March 27, 2017.  She was born in Sutton, Arkansas on December 27, 1950 to James C. and Annie E. Nelson Bright.  She worked for the Veterans Administration as an Assistant for the Health Information and Medical Services, and a member of Antioch Missionary Baptist Church.  She is preceded in death by parents; James C. and Annie E. Bright.

She is survived by her husband, of 38 years, Jerry Mason of Sutton, her two sons; Jerry Mason, Jr, his wife, Paula of Siloam Springs, and Brian Mason, his wife, Lynette of Maumelle, her daughter Kim Clark of Siloam Springs, her brother; Jimmy Bright, his wife, Jerri of DeQueen, AR, her sister; Linda Doege, her husband, Walter of Sutton, six grandchildren, numerous great-grandchildren, other family members and friends.

The family has requested that in lieu of flowers, memorials can be made to the Hospice of Texarkana 2407 Galleria Oaks Texarkana, TX 75503.

Visitation will be Wednesday evening, March 29, 2017 from 6:00 to 8:00pm at Brazzel/Cornish Funeral Home 1196 Hwy 371 Prescott, AR.
