Mary Sue (Wilson) McMillan, age 85, passed away peacefully on January 6th, 2017 in Pasadena Texas. She was born January 8, 1931 in Prescott, Arkansas to Owen and Vernell Wilson.
Mary spent most of her life in Texas and enjoyed a civil service career during which she worked for Bryan Air Force Base, US Postal Service and the Veterans Administration. She was an avid fan of the Texas Aggies as well as a stamp collector, civil war enthusiast and genealogy buff. Her greatest joys, however, were her grand/great-grandchildren, her many dachshunds and tending her plants and gardens.
Mary was preceded in death by her husband of 55 years, T.D. "Pete" McMillan in 2009; her parents; brothers Owen, Jr., Tillman Wilson, and Byron Watson Wilson; sisters Delma Faye Smith, Carolyn Hart and Bette Wilson.
She is survived by a son and daughter-in-law, Les and Carol McMillan of Pasadena, Texas; daughter, Patricia McMillan of Katy, Texas; granddaughters Amie McMillan, Carrie Payne and husband David, and Vita Hickman and husband Ben; and great-grandchildren, Maddex Payne, Kaya and Leo Hickman, all of Pasadena/Deer Park; as well as numerous nieces and nephews.
The funeral service will be held at 11:00am Tuesday, January 10

, at Niday Fairmont Funeral Home in Pasadena, Texas.
Graveside service will be 10:00am, Thursday, January 12, 2017 at Sweet Home Cemetery in Blevins, Arkansas. Rev. Jerry G. Westmoreland will officiate the graveside service. Local arrangements are by BRAZZEL/Cornish The Funeral Home of Prescott, Eddie BRAZZEL, Director. Online guestbook:
