Mrs. Mary Cordelia Rowe Marcum of Hope, Arkansas passed away Sunday June 6, 2010, in Hope. She was born March 4, 1928, in Hempstead County, Arkansas, to Joseph Bell and Carrie Melissa Buck Rowe. She was a retired seamstress and member of Garrett Memorial Baptist Church of Hope, Ark. She was preceded in death by her parents; by her husband, Rev. James H. Marcum, Sr.; by one son, James H. Jim Marcum, Jr.; one daughter, Mary Hedges, Three brothers, Clayborn C.J. Rowe, Lacie Rowe and J.B. Rowe, Jr. and one sister, Audrey Hampton. HER SURVIVORS INCLUDE: One Son: Mike Marcum and June, Alexandria, Louisiana. One Daughter: Evelyn Triplett and Roy, Nashville, Tenn. One Brother: M.T. Bill Rowe, Texarkana, Arkansas. and Nine Grandchildren, several great-grandchildren, a host of nieces and nephews and other relatives and friends. GRAVESIDE SERVICES will be 10:00 a. m., Tuesday, June 8, 2010, at Memory Gardens Cemetery, Hope, Arkansas, with Rev. Larry Silvey officiating. Burial to follow.
