Mrs. Mary Carleene Yokem, age 92 of Escondido, California, a native of Miller County, Arkansas passed away, Tuesday January 30, 2018. Mrs. Yokem was born on September 16, 1925 in Texarkana, Arkansas to Carl Carr and Addie Moore Carr. She was a member of Bruce Memorial Methodist Church in Blevins, Arkansas. She had owned and operated a grocery store and was a poultry farmer. She is preceded in death by her parents, by husbands Chester Stephens and Dale Yokem, an infant sister and sisters Norma Smith and Dorothy Prince.

Survivors include her daughter Mrs. Linda Crosby (Bob) of San Diego, CA, a sister Faye Reyenga of Hope, grand-daughter Kimberly Kruk (Peter) and twin great-grandsons, Andrew and Alexander.

Funeral service is 2:00pm Saturday, February 10, 2018 at Bruce Memorial Methodist Church in Blevins, with Rev. Jimmy Teeter officiating. Visitation will start at 12:30pm at the church prior to the service. Burial will be in Marlbrook Cemetery near Blevins.
