Mattie Mae
Lee
Apr 28, 1932 — Sep 10, 2024
Hope
Mattie Mae Lee, 92, of Hope, passed away Tuesday, September 10, 2024. She was born April 28, 1932, to Henry and Virgie Robinson in Hope, Arkansas.
Mattie was preceded in death by her parents, Henry and Virgie Robinson, her husband and love of her life, Bobby Joe Lee along with her siblings.
Mattie worked in different vocations throughout her lifetime, but, the one she cherished the most was being a devoted house wife, mother and grandmother. She was a charter member of the Lioness Club and participated in many Lions Club auctions. She was an avid baker and well known for her Japanese fruit pie. Mattie was a member of the First Baptist Church of Hope where she worked in the nursery/toddler department, which she dearly loved!
She is survived by one sister Jean Thompson; son Robin Lee, daughter Lisa Lee Campbell (Late Max Campbell), Grandchildren, Alan Lee (Christy), Megan Randall (Cliff), Meredith Rook (Ryan), great-grands, Kix, Bristol, RJ, Lakyen and Jacob.
We would like to extend special thanks to Patti Stout for the excellent care she provided to our mother while she was at home and to the staff of Heather Manor Nursing and Rehab for the love and excellent care they provided to our mother when she was no longer able to stay at home.
