Mrs. Maxine Dulaney Convington, age 82, of Prescott, Arkansas, passed away Monday, November 18, 2013 in El Dorado, Arkansas. Mrs. Covington was born September 10, 1931, in Archibald, Louisiana, to George and Mae Bell Fartheree Dulaney. She was a homemaker and member of the Prescott Church of Christ. Thought out her life she was considered the town babysitter of Prescott, at one time owning the skating rink and movie theater. She loved to embroidery, cook, as well as gardening. She was a loving mother, grandmother, and great- grandmother. Mrs. Covington was preceded in death by her parents, her husband of 60 years, Clyde Covington, brothers, George Dulaney, Jr., C.L. Dulaney, and sister, Marie Kirkpatrick. Mrs. Covington is survived by her daughters, Dorothy Mae Ingram and husband Gerald Robert of San Diego, California, Debra Jean Pate of Prescott, Arkansas. Sisters, Mae Etta Rucker of Jefferson, Texas, Christine Dalton of El Dorado, Arkansas and Dean Ainsworth, of Village, Arkansas. Grandchildren, Shannon Best of Prescott, Angela Gammage of Hope, Ryan Pate of Dierks, Arkansas, nine great-grandchildren, numerous other family members and friends. Visitation for Mrs. Covington will be 12:00 to 2:00pm, Saturday, November 23, 2013 at Brazzel/Cornish Funeral Home. Memorial service will be 2:00pm, Saturday, November 23, 2013 at the Brazzel/Cornish Chapel, with Bro. James Cox officiating.
