Mrs. Melissa Applegate, age 51 of Hope, Arkansas passed away Saturday, April 22, 2017 at her home. Mrs. Applegate was born on June 2, 1965 in Hope, Arkansas, to Max and Mary Janeway Arnold. She was of Christian Faith and a homemaker. She is preceded in death by her parents Max and Mary Janeway Arnold.

Survivors include; her husband of 33 years Kenny Ray Applegate, one daughter; Mary Mae Applegate (Lee Payton) two sons; Keith Ray Franklin and James Wade Applegate, grandchildren; Thomas and Zechariah Applegate, Brandon Jewell, Nicholas Jewell, Nancy Payton, Nathaniel Payton, step grandchild; Autumn Whitten and one baby on the way Lee Payton Jr, numerous relatives and friends.

Visitation is 12:30 to 1:30pm on Sunday, April 23, 2017, at Brazzel/Oakcrest Funeral Home 1001 South Main Hope, Arkansas 71801.

Graveside services will be 2:00pm on Sunday, April 23, 2017, at Foster Cemetery in Spring Hill, Arkansas with Bro. Ernie Sorrels officiating. Burial will follow.
