Mrs. Mickey Dean Powell Hicks, age 65, of Fulton, Arkansas, passed away, Wednesday, July 30, 2014, at her home in Fulton. Mrs. Hicks was born June 4, 1949, in Hope, Arkansas to Talmadge and Iris Clark Powell, she was a lab tech for 17 years, with River Valley Animal Foods of Tyson Foods, and a member of Old Liberty Church. She was a loving mother, and Nana. Mrs. Hicks was preceded in death by her parents, and husband Bobby Hicks. Mrs. Hicks is survived by her sons, Denvil Brown and wife Kelly of Springhill, Arkansas and Chris Brown of Iowa Falls, Iowa, daughter, Misty Gilbert and husband Danna of Crossroads, brothers, Terry Powell and wife Virginia of of Beaumont, Texas, and Danny Powell and wife Kay of Hope, Arkansas, Tim Stambaugh and wife, Edith of Ohio; Step-brother, John Pettit and wife Rosetta of Fulton, Arkansas. Grandchildren, Brandon Mason, Austin Brown, Dylan Branham, Tyler Gilbert, Hannah Gilbert, Lance Jonio, Justus Jonio, Ashley Herring, Bradley Brown, Hunter Brown, Caleigh Brown, Tristan Brannick, Emily Pettit, Jacob Pettit, Krystal Chenault and husband Steven, Kellin Hamilton, and Katlin Hamilton. Visitation for Mrs. Hicks will be 6:00 to 8:00pm, Saturday, August 2, 2014,at Brazzel/Oakcrest Funeral Home. Funeral service for Mrs. Hicks will be 2:00pm, Sunday, August 3, 2014, at Old Liberty Church at Crossroads, with Bro. Charles Hawley officiating, burial will follow in Betts Cemetery.
