Mr. James Michael "Mike" Barksdale age 58 of Prescott, Arkansas passed away Tuesday, February 25, 2020 at his residence. He was born March 30, 1961 in Houston, Texas to James William and June Wynn Barksdale. James was a welder and a certified farrier. He served in the United States Army and was a member of Church of Christ. He is preceded in death by his father, James William Barksdale.

Survivors include his mother June Wynn Porter his companion Erin Beaird, a son James Brock Barksdale, and a host of relatives and friends.

Visitation will be from 6:00pm to 8:00pm, Thursday, February 27, 2020 at BRAZZEL/Oakcrest Funeral Home 1001 South Main St. Hope, Arkansas 71801.

Funeral Service will be 10:00am, Friday, February 28, 2020 at BRAZZEL/Oakcrest Funeral Home with Mr. Barry Haynes officiating. Burial to follow at Bluff City Cemetery.
