Mildred J. Smith, age 101, of Little Rock, Arkansas formerly of Prescott, passed away on September 16, 2026, surrounded by family.

Mrs. Smith was born on August 5, 1925, in Hope, Arkansas to her parents, Carl and Carrie McCain Morris. She had a love for flea markets and at one time was in the business.

She is preceded in death by her parents; husband, W.R. “Sonny” Smith; one daughter, Branda Almond; one sister-in-law, Paula Smith; two sons-in-law, Gary Phillips and Dean Almond; and one brother, Gilbert Morris.

Left to cherish her memory is her two children, Susan Phillips, Michael Smith; six grandchildren; and numerous great grandchildren.

The family would like to express a heartfelt thank you to all the wonderful and beautiful people at Briarwood Health and Rehab for all the love and care they gave to Mrs. Mildred over the last ten years.

Graveside services will be held at 3:00 p.m. on Saturday, September 19, 2026, at Sweet Home Cemetery under the direction of Brazzel-Cornish Funeral Home, The Funeral Home of Prescott, Ben Brazzel, Director.
