Mrs. Mildred Fay Stallsworth, age 72 of Benton, Louisiana, passed away Thursday, September 24, 2015 in Minden, Louisiana. Mrs. Stallsworth was born January 25, 1943 in Laneburg, Arkansas, to William Stanley and Katie Campbell Dowing. Mrs. Stallsworth was of the Baptist Faith and she was a retired caregiver and homemaker. She was loving to all living things. Mrs. Stallsworth is preceded in death by her parents William and Katie Dowing. Survivors include: husband of 54 years, Larry Stallsworth, of Benton, Louisiana, two daughters; Jodie Stallsworth of Benton, Louisiana, Cindy Jones and her husband, Gary, of Minden, Louisiana, three sisters; Minnie Hart of Odessa, Texas, Sue Monroe and her husband, Gary, of Lampasses, Texas, Margaret Schaeffer of Fouke, Arkansas, one grandchild, Ashley Liles of Minden, Louisiana, and many nieces, nephews, and friends. The family requested that memorial contributions be made to the charity of your choice. Visitation will be 12:00-2:00pm, Sunday, September 27, 2015 at Brazzel/Cornish Funeral Home, 1196 HWY 371, Prescott, Arkansas, 71857. Memorial service is 2:00pm, Sunday, September 27, 2015 at Brazzel/Cornish Funeral Home in Prescott. Burial will be at a later date.
